• Beta Shield Waste Container System

  Beta Shield waste container system is designed for storing contaminated items such as micro-tubes, pipette tips, gloves, glassware, etc. The complete system consists of a 10mm thick clear acrylic container shield, heavy duty corrugated waste receptacle and 3 mil poly liner. Each item is available separately.
  
  The heavy duty carton stores up to 0.06 cubic metre of waste with a weight capacity of 34Kgs. The box is imprinted with the official radiation symbol and appropriate warning information. A yellow polyethylene liner printed with the radiation warning symbol is available for extra protection.

• Beta Storage Containers

  Large interior space for various size containers plus room for crushed ice. Clear acrylic can be stored in a freezer to –70°C. Also available with built in lock for extra security (see Rad-Lock Box™).

• Beta-Cube™ Shield

  Beta-Cube™ is designed to hold the square NENSURE™ vials containing ³²P. Beta-Cube is constructed of 10mm clear acrylic for effective shielding of beta isotopes. Vial and cover are securely held in place with an adjustable thumb screw. Optional micro-tube insert holds a single 0.5, 1.5-2.0 micro-tube. Safe for freezer storage to –70°C.

• Centrifuge Tube Beta Shields

  Styles BQ-006 and BQ-008 feature a hinged lid and removable rack that hold up to 28x15ml tubes. Optional rack insert holds a combination of 8x15ml and 12x50ml tubes. Style 145710 has a removable lid and a permanent rack that holds up to 6x50ml tubes.

• Multi-Comp™ Beta Shields

  The Multi-Comp™ Beta Shield allows storing and transporting of up to four bottles containing ³²P solutions. Individualised compartments have separate lids limiting exposure to a single compartment at a time. Supplied with inserts to accommodate smaller vials. Constructed of 10mm acrylic.
