Laura 4™

Control your complete radiochromatography system with one software package

Laura 4 is the latest evolution of the widely used industry standard Laura radio-chromatography system from LabLogic. Produced to accommodate the latest network platforms, Laura 4 offers the researcher the facility to create and edit methods, set up sample runs and view data collection in real time across the network without being confined to the bench-top PC.

Laura has all the features an experienced chromatographer expects - multiple trace display and data treatment, quench correction, decay correction, manual and automatic peak finding, continuous and discontinuous scintillator pump control, fraction collector control, multiple run overlay. It is the ideal radio-chromatography data system for both pharmaceutical industry DMPK studies and PET/Nuclear Medicine research. It offers integrated control of both radio-detector and HPLC system in a GxP environment; one system for all your radio-chromatography needs.

More information...

  • Connectivity
  • Laura provides the highest possible connectivity to support devices and third-party software. Full control of gradient HPLC pumps is now possible, as is connection to autoinjectors and fraction collectors. View our list of supported instruments. More than one HPLC station can be operated by a single PC. Data from TLC analyzers and liquid scintillation counters can be input either directly or via disk transfer to enable data to be compared, interrogated and reported. Laura is the complete radio-chromatography package, and can be used equally effectively to quantify the mass channel (UV or RI etc.) as well as the radioactive channels since it combines many features from conventional chromatography systems such as internal and external standardization and peak skimming.

  • Data Analysis
  • Laura offers an intuitive range of tools for chromatogram integration. Many of these tools have been specifically designed for use with data from radio-activity detectors. Backgrounds can be accurately defined and subtracted. For work with short lived radio-isotopes Laura can automatically correct for half life decay. Limits of detection can easily be defined.

  • Flexibility
  • Great attention has been paid to the flexibility of Laura, allowing the user a wide and varied choice of options without making the package difficult to use. This flexibility is achieved by utilizing quick access, icon-driven toolbars with single keystroke operation. These 'hot keys' are user definable which allows you to personalise the system to your preference. Laura also accommodates unfamiliar users by offering helpful on-screen prompt lines in the style of Microsoft Word. An example of this flexibility is the report generator. The user can decide which columns, in what order and specify the decimal precision to be reported. This is all achieved from a single screen.

  • SDA Processing
  • SDA is a new and unique, unmatched feature offered by LabLogic for detailed visual presentation of data whilst still keeping strict GLP compliance. SDA significantly improves visual detail without smoothing data, therefore, offering unmatched visual quality and definition for the smallest of peaks against background, whilst leaving the raw data unchanged.
